Pastor Jordan Scott has been here at LWLC since July 2016.  He and his wife, Martha, have been married since 2001.  They were high school sweethearts and are both native Wisconsinites.  Pastor Scott attended the University of Northwestern-St.Paul, MN where he majored in Biblical Studies and minored in Ancient Languages and Music.  After college, he attended Luther Seminary, also in St. Paul.  Martha is a stay-at-home mom (i.e. “domestic engineer”) and previously worked as a youth minister.  Prior to coming to LWLC, Pastor Scott did a year of internship in Charleston, WV and served a church in Wisconsin as pastor.

Pastor Scott is passionate about preaching and teaching the Gospel, seeing people grow in the faith, and having lives transformed by Jesus.  In his spare time, Pastor Scott likes to go hiking and biking, building model battleships, and watching episodes of Star Trek.

Danielle was born and raised in New Jersey until the age of 40 when my husband’s job relocated us to South Carolina.  My husband Ken worked for Maersk Sealand for 35 years and changed jobs in May 2013.  We are coming up on our 25th year anniversary.  He currently lives in New Jersey and commutes every day to Philadelphia where he is working at Holt Logistics as an Assistant Terminal Manager.  He comes to visit us on the weekends.

We have 4 children.  Rosalie is 22 and will be graduating from Carolinas College of Health Sciences.  She currently works as a Health Care Technician at the Pineville ER.  She will be graduating from Nursing School in December of this year and is hoping to continue to work as an ER nurse.  Kenny is 20 and attended MMI, Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando Florida.  He graduated in October 2016 and is currently employed at Bass Pro Shops in Concord as a Marine Mechanic.  Alexandra is 18 and graduated from Fort Mill High School in May of this year and is currently an intern for Siemens Engineering Corporation.  She is hoping to get an apprenticeship which will keep her employed.  She will attend school during her apprenticeship at CPCC for Machining.  After she completes her program she will continue her education at UNC Charlotte to fulfill her Engineering Degree.  Joey is 15, turning 16 at the end of August.  He is going into his Junior year at Fort Mill High School.  He worked this summer at the Tega Cay Pool as a lifeguard and also cuts lawns to earn money.  He plays travel hockey for the Pineville Ice House.  We also have 2 dogs named Duke and Winnie.

I graduated from Caldwell College with a Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management.  I worked for a few years before I decided to go back to school to earn my teaching degree.  I attended Kean University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology.  I also have my real estate license.

I taught kindergarten and first grade in the inner city of Newark, NJ for several years before I began my family.  I was also the Director at a daycare/preschool in Parsippany, NJ.  I feel my calling in life has always been to teach.  I love children and the way their little minds think.  It’s always been my passion.  I look forward to work every day and making a difference in children’s lives.  Our team at the preschool is wonderful.  We work together to have an outstanding reputation and will continue to thrive and help the children grow.

I love to spend time with my family.  We enjoy traveling together and sometimes apart too.  The beach is my happy place.  My dogs are a very big part of my life.  I have built some great friendships here and I value each one of them.  I feel very fortunate and blessed with what God has put in my path for me.
